Despite having left school 30 years ago, September always feels like a “new term” for me. Since the last newsletter in March, there definitely feels like the economy is improving and people are feeling a lot more confident. In view of this and the increased demand for Hygiene treatment, we are delighted to be able to introduce a new hygienist to the practice. Sarah King has joined us on a Thursday to double up with Fitsum.
Hopefully we will be able to take full advantage of the extra clinic she is running to ensure that you can get the hygiene appointment you want without a long wait.
We are sorry to lose Rob Ratcliffe, our Periodontist. Rob has been with us for 5 years, but an increase in his teaching time at Guys means he can no longer work at our clinic. We would like to thank him for all of his expert help over the last years. On Rob’s recommendation, Dr. Pegah Pasha will be taking over his clinic
Pegah is very experienced, having graduated from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden in 2001. She has also worked in Southern Spain before commencing work here in the UK in 2003. Pegah is an enthusiastic, proactive Periodontist who also teaches at Guy’s hospital.
Since March, I have been to Phoenix, Arizona on advanced Cerec training with the world’s best Cerec clinicians and also an Advanced 6 Month Smiles course. Also, after completing an intensive course in August,I am now the first registered Fastbraces® provider in the area. (see our post below).
I’m taking Val and Monika to Bilbao in October to the BTI Technology Institute. The clinicians here are world leaders in developing technologies to replace bone after extractions and during implant procedures using the patients own blood. This technology is being taken up worldwide and represents a major advance forward in how we plan dental implants and extractions. I will explain this remarkable technology in the next newsletter.
We’ll be pleased to discuss your needs with a simple, no obligation consultation. Call us today on 020 8940 3444 or e-mail us on: firstname.lastname@example.org for further information.
